Position Overview:
JC Lewis Motor Company is seeking a reliable and motivated Lot Porter to help maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of our dealership vehicles. As a Lot Porter, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive first impression for our customers by keeping our lot and vehicles in top condition.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash, fuel, and detail vehicles to keep them customer-ready.

• Organize and maintain the dealership lot for easy vehicle access and a professional appearance.

• Assist sales and service teams by preparing vehicles for delivery and retrieving cars for test drives.

• Track and update vehicle inventory information accurately.

• Monitor lot security, ensuring vehicles are locked and reporting any issues.

• Perform light facility maintenance tasks such as cleaning and trash removal.

• Collaborate with team members to support smooth dealership operations.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, bend, and perform manual tasks.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

• Basic customer service skills and ability to work as part of a team.

• Reliable, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Outdoor work in all weather conditions.

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting, and vehicle operation.

• Use of equipment such as pressure washers, vacuums, and basic hand tools.

• Exposure to cleaning chemicals (with safety protocols).

• Fast-paced dealership environment with occasional customer interaction.
