RMC is hiring an Information Security Analyst for the role of Information Security Systems Officer (ISSO) to support our NAVAIR customer in Patuxent River, MD. The selected applicant will perform a variety of Information Assurance activities, including, but not limited to:

• Ensuring System Authorization Access Requests (SAAR) for new accounts and existing account modifications are authorized, completed, and processed
• Creation of SIPRNet tokens
• Dormant account reactivation and maintaining the NMCI Account Dormancy List
• Completion and routing of NIPRNet and SIPRNet account tickets
• Completion and routing of Classified token tickets
• Assist customers with processes and documentation required for account creation/modification
• Provide support to the certification revocation process

The applicant shall be familiar with the following:

• Project management.
• Written and verbal communications.
• Teamwork and collaboration.
• Ability to work on classified systems (i.e., SIPRNet) within secure environments.

Requirements

• An AA/AS degree and up to three (3) years of relevant experience are required. A High School diploma/GED and two (2) years of additional experience performing work related to the labor category functional description may be substituted for an associate degree.
• The applicant must meet the certification and clearance requirements established IAW the DoD Manual 8570. The applicant must have one of the following certifications to start:

• Security+ CE
• CAP / CGRC
• GSLC
• CND Cloud+

• The selected applicant must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team in NAVAIR environments.  A Junior level candidate is responsible for assisting more senior staff and/or performing functional duties under the oversight of more senior staff.
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start.  The applicant may be subjected to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $60,000 to $80,000 (annually).
