 Position Summary:  

The Associate’s responsibility will be for assisting the production line, trouble shooting, and entering job data into PLEX.  

Primary Duties:  

· Responsible to coordinator, accepting assigned tasks  

· Preparing material for all related parts according to production tasks  

· Adjusting glass thickness, transmission speed, brushing speed,ventilation speed of washing machine, and glass curvature  

· Familiar with quality inspection standards of glass appearance, the company’s internal control standards and customer requirements  

· Responsible for placing good WIP glass after inspection onto good product rack  

· Responsible for marking, isolating and identifying defective products and returned scraps  

· Responsible for rework and conducting 100% appearance inspection according to inspection requirements  

· Responsible for substituting any position on the line for break in turns  

· Responsible for half-hour sample check of glass appearance in order to prevent large quantity defects  

· Completing relevant data report and system recording, and ensuring its authenticity, objectivity and timeliness, and consistency between the inventory and accounts  

· Positively understanding and supervising workshop environmental factors and hazards, and their control method  

· Conscientiously implementing Integrated Management System Documents  

· Storing wastes by categories

Qualifications Desired:  

· 1 to 3 years manufacturing experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred  

· High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)  

Requirements:  

· Familiar with optical white light inspection angle  

· Familiar with washing loading and unloading proper motion  

· Familiar with distinguishing names of different types of glass defects  

· Familiar with glass appearance inspection proper motion Familiar with production statistical reports and recording, and other production statistical knowledge and skills
