Job Overview: Join our team as a Supply Chain Technician and play a key role in supporting efficient, high-quality patient care. In this role, you’ll assist the Materials Coordinator and clinical departments by ensuring a smooth and reliable flow of medical and surgical supplies. You’ll help with ordering, receiving, stocking, and organizing materials to maintain accurate inventory and timely availability of essential items. Your attention to detail and commitment to organization will directly support our care teams and contribute to the overall success of our facility operations.
Reports to: Director of Clinical Operations
Schedule/Type: PRN/hourly
Wage: $26.00/hr, commensurate with experience

Requirements
Essential Duties:
- Essential Job Responsibilities with demonstrated competency:
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and restocking supplies to maintain established par levels.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming supplies; verify packing slips and quantities for accuracy.
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant storage areas in accordance with infection prevention and safety standards.
- Support ordering and tracking of supplies under the guidance of the Materials Coordinator.
- Communicate backorders, product substitutions, and supply delays to appropriate staff.
- Rotate inventory to minimize waste and remove expired or damaged items.
- Assist in conducting periodic and annual physical inventory counts.
- Maintain accurate labeling and documentation of all supplies and storage locations.
- Assist with coordination of deliveries, loaner equipment, and returns as needed.
- Uphold confidentiality, safety, and infection prevention standards in all work practices
Performance Requirements
- Demonstrates understanding of materials management or supply chain processes within a healthcare environment.
- Maintains attention to detail and accuracy in receiving, stocking, and documenting inventory.
- Utilizes basic computer and inventory management systems with proficiency.
- Exhibits initiative in identifying low stock or supply issues and communicates promptly with leadership.
- Demonstrates physical ability to safely lift, move, and organize materials and equipment.
- Maintains a working knowledge of infection prevention and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in materials management, supply chain, or inventory control required.
- Healthcare or ASC experience preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency; familiarity with inventory systems preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly lift supply boxes up to 40 lbs. and push/pull carts up to 150 lbs.
- Frequently stoop, twist, bend, reach, and climb stairs; sit and type for extended periods.
Work Environment:
- Exposure to potentially infectious materials, biological bodily fluids, chemicals, pharmaceutical waste, and radiation (OSHA Category I).
- Noise level is typically moderate.
- Employees may occasionally be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and other environmental hazards.
- Work occurs in clinical and storage areas where infection prevention, safety, and proper handling of materials are required.
