Education: | Minimum: BS. degree in business, healthcare, or related field. Preferred: M.S. in business or healthcare administration. |

Experience: | Minimum: 3-5 years' experience in Physician Practice operations, 3 years in a supervisory role. Experience with computerized patient scheduling. Computer literacy required with word processing, spreadsheets, power point and EMRs. Preferred: Knowledge of Physician Office and Physician billing. Ability to create and manage an operating budget. Experience with Microsoft Office products including word, excel and power point. Medent systems experience and patient scheduling. |
Other: | Minimum: Exceptional interpersonal skills, including prior positive physician relations. Demonstrates ability to work independently and maintain current systems. Demonstrates ability to prioritize workload, develop/maintain efficient office systems and complete payroll. Strong verbal/written skills in communicating skills. Exceptional organization skills, working knowledge of CPT & ICD-10 codes. Preferred: Outpatient admission/registration experience preferred. Medical terminology. Scheduling and billing knowledge and experience preferred. Knowledge of Occupational Health, DOT and Worker’s Compensation. |

Population Specific Requirements: | The Practice Manager must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age-specific needs, and to provide the care needed by neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient group. |
Exposure Control Classification: | Occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens is reasonably anticipated. Required tasks involve a potential contact with blood, body fluids, tissues. |
Responsibility Summary: | Primary oversight of the administrative functions of the Seneca Family Health Center (approximatey 60%), to include operations. Maintains effective verbal and written communications at multiple levels within internal and external customers. Directs and guides staff and ensures appropriate utilization of human and capital resources. Individual must be highly organized with the ability to multi-task. Supervises staff and day-to-day practice operations. Provides leadership with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Problem solving skills must be well developed. Collaborates with providers to improve processes and resolve issues. Develops and coordinates efficient department procedures that support the operations of Occupational health and Worker’s Compensation activity. |

| Coordinates efficient departmental procedures that support the operations of the practice. Oversees day-to-day operations of practice. Demonstrates focus on customer service and instills concept in all staff. |
| Optimizes efficiency of daily operations including scheduling, registration, charge/cash posting. General knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT-4 codes. Leads by example and mentors staff. Coordinates services to efficiently utilize provider time. |
| Works together with the staff and providers to develop a business plan that identifies new programs/services or changes to existing services to increase revenue, improve customer satisfaction, and improve clinical quality and/or patient safety. |
| Ensures preparation of patients for office visits. Ensures appropriate education and follow-up. Ensures follow-up for prescriptions and pathology results. |
| Ensures Providers are assisted with patient care and/or procedures. Ensures staff mentorship to develop appropriate clinical skills. Assists in the development of processes consistent with PCMH. Assists with monitoring and reporting of achievement of quality metrics. |
