Tennis Shop Attendant - Part Time

Overview: The Tennis Shop Attendant will work closely with the Tennis Pros and Tennis Shop Manager to complete shop duties and any programs.

Must have open availability for the following shifts:

Mon – Thu – 4-8pm 

Friday – Sunday -1-6pm 

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of merchandise in shop

• Maintains a clean and orderly tennis shop and patio

• Restock merchandise when supply is low

• Court bookings by on-line app, phone and email

• Maintain communications between the tennis shop and the Ansley Membership via

telephone, e-mail, and personal contact.

• Event and clinic registration

• Control the court booking and lesson booking process while abiding by the club policies that are established by the tennis committee.

• Execute billing for all tennis services and shop merchandise using the POS system

• Promote and register members for tennis events and clinics.

• Communicate with the court maintenance team to make sure they are aware of when the courts are needed for play.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Basic phone skills (Answer and speak in positive voice and manner)

· Basic computer skills

· Basic Tennis knowledge

· Performs any other duties requested by management

· Ability to always have professional manners

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift 25+ lbs.

· Ability to stand for long periods of time

· Ability to bend and pull occasionally

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

• Good customer service skills and good communication skills are required.

• Must be able to maintain a friendly and professional demeanor.

• Must be punctual.

Language:

· Required to speak, read, write English
