The Blueprint (Role Profile)

Support production, maintenance, and other aspects of the business by operating wire draw and pickling machines in response to customer demand. This is a 3rd shift position, working 4 days a week and 10 hours a day from 9 PM to 4 PM (week starts Sunday PM). Must be able to train on 1st shift.

The Build (Responsibilities)

• Operate machines used in pickling and wire draw.
• Use gauges and visual checks to monitor machine performance.
• Make proper adjustments to ensure machines operate efficiently and maintain high quality output.
• Cross-trained to operate numerous pieces of equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment when required.
• Move material to and from work area.
• Train others as assigned.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures to produce a quality product/service, including reporting non-conforming materials.
• Report unusual conditions or questionable items to team lead or supervisor.
• Adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Maintain accurate records as required.
• Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned by team lead or supervisor.

The Toolbox (Qualifications)

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of similar work experience.
• Prior experience operating sitdown forklift.
• Work overtime hours (more than 40 hours per week) including Fridays.
• Stand and walk continuously for 8 hours.
• Climb stairs and ladders.
• Lift and move up to 50 pounds.
