The Human Resources Business Partner collaborates with the HR Team and key leadership in delivering value-added services to team members that reflect departmental goals and organizational business objectives. This role is critical in driving HR functional excellence and process improvement through leveraging deep knowledge of internal clients and business processes. He or she will manage a diverse set of HR responsibilities, from employee engagement to compliance and analytics, and support the company’s mission to foster a dynamic and high-performing workplace.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the evaluation, design, delivery, and monitoring of HR programs and initiatives.
- Oversee HR goals/ special projects.
- In collaboration with the Manager, Human Resources, will manage and evaluate timelines to ensure projects stay on track; provide weekly snapshot reports as well as discuss any challenges, delays, etc.
- Manage complex autonomous projects with limited direction while efficiently utilizing time and resources.
- Maintain proficiency with HRIS systems (ADP, etc.) and serve as a resource to other Aegis Team Members. Enter, verify, and maintain employee records and benefit selections in the company’s Human Resource Information System (HRIS). Ensure data integrity and confidentiality according to company policies and laws.
- Measure and provide reporting for key HR metrics.
- Lead or assist with periodic HR audits to ensure the accuracy and completeness of personnel files, benefits data, and regulatory documentation. Identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare regular and ad hoc HR reports, such as headcount, turnover, compensation analysis, and benefits utilization, to support business decisions. Present clear, concise data visualizations and summaries for stakeholders.
- Collect, track, and analyze HR metrics related to employee turnover, compensation, and overall data integrity. Identify trends, patterns, and underlying issues to inform strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate and communicate with benefits, HRIS, and other service vendors to ensure seamless delivery of HR programs and services. Assist with vendor selection, contract management, and performance evaluation.
- Support the development and deployment of effective internal communication strategies for HR-driven changes, such as new policies, benefit changes, or process updates. Ensure clarity, consistency, and transparency in messaging.
- Coordinate and conduct exit interviews with departing employees, analyze feedback, and identify actionable trends to improve retention and company culture. Produce summary reports for management review.
Successful Candidates Must Possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related discipline required
- With a Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of five (5) years of progressive Human Resources experience required; with a Master’s degree, a minimum of three (3) years of progressive Human Resources experience required
- Experience must also include:
- A minimum of three (3) years with ADP HRIS experience
- A minimum of one (1) year of SharePoint experience
- Strong analytical and Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent presentation (verbal) and written communication skills
- Active PHR/SPHR certification preferred
