JOB SUMMARY:  In this role, you will help sustain Mennel’s tradition of excellence established in 1886 as well as support our food safety programs and mission to reliably deliver superior quality, uniformity, and service. The HRIS Analyst is a corporate position and is responsible for the support, maintenance, and enhancement of the organization’s HRIS system. This role requires the ability to configure, troubleshoot, and analyze system processes, support data integrity, and improve HR workflows and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a proactive mindset, strong technical and analytical skills, and proven experience managing HRIS platforms in a corporate setting. 

 

PRIMARY WORK SHIFT:  

Works shift as assigned and overtime as required. Typical office hours are Monday through Friday 8AM – 5PM. Hours may vary, depending on workload. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Follow all food and personal safety rules and regulations in respect to GMP’s, OSHA, HACCP, the Global Food Safety Initiative, the US FDA Food Safety Modernization Act as stated in the FS&Q Statement, and sanitation guidelines as set forth by the company as listed in Corporate Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) and attend all required training sessions. Maintain the department/facility in an everyday audit ready condition.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for ADP Workforce Now HRIS modules including core HR, Benefits, Time and Attendance, Talent Management and others that may be added.
  • Maintain system configurations, user permissions, security settings, and process flows.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, and IT to implement and develop new and current HRIS modules, features, or upgrades, i.e., system modules for the performance management program, the disciplinary process, the recruitment module, the learning management system, etc. Analyze and troubleshoot issues with data feeds, workflows, and reporting functions.
  • Serve as liaison between HR, information services, external vendors and other stakeholders for any HRIS related issues.
  • Develop and deliver customized HR reports and dashboards for leadership and compliance.
  • Ensure data integrity through regular audits, validation checks, and system testing.
  • Assist in training HR team members and end-users on ADP system functionality and self-service tools.
  • Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
  • Maintains employee files as outlined within the record retention policy, including but not limited to; personnel, workers compensation, and medical files.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position has no supervisory duties. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform this job.  

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, information systems, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with ADP Workforce Now HRIS platform.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and HRIS workflows across the employee lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to configure and maintain system rules, workflows, and reporting.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and data manipulation capabilities.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Power Point.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Must have exceptional time management skills.
  • Ability to always maintain confidentiality, and understand the intimacy needed for maintaining personnel files and other documents.
  • Well spoken, articulate and courteous verbal, written and phone correspondence.
  • Must have professional presence and strong interpersonal skills.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, procedures and plans. Ability to write, complete checklists and other basic documentation and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information or data in one-on-one and small group situations to co-workers, supervisors, and managers. 

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: 

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 

 

REASONING ABILITY:

Must use solid judgment when making decisions. Must have ability to quickly recognize and plan for changing work duties and events.
