Job Summary: To support the Supervisor by being capable of cross training and performing any of the essential positions on an as needed basis.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must be able to successfully run each press on the floor
- Working knowledge of IQ in the areas of real time, production reporting and inventory reconciliation.
- Check for consistency in paperwork – BOM vs. Work instructions
- Verify information on labels – PO, Quantity, Lot #, Material and Revision
- Ensure packaging is per BOM / Work instructions
- Ensure that the operators read and understand their paperwork; check the sign off on back of the work orders.
- Daily back counts and show all math on the defect tally sheets.
- Set-up work cells & assist at start up.
- Assist Leads in visual quality checks
- Maintain efficiency, housekeeping, safety and GMP’s.
- Train and mentor Operators
- Other duties as assigned
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a production environment, preferably plastics.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Must be able to follow oral and written instructions
- Understand, speak and read English and Spanish
ADA Requirements:
- Bend, squat, climb, grasp, reach, lift or otherwise move frequently for extended periods
- Walk, stand or otherwise move about continuously
- Exposure to machine shop physical hazards including chemicals which may require respiratory protection
- Typically sits, grasps items and performs keyboarding for occasional operation of a computer
