Collections Specialist chez Alera Group

Alera Group is looking for a Collections Specialist to join our team in Syracuse, New York. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team – joining us may be the perfect fit for you!

• Work with finance companies – ensuring forms are completed timely and accurately
• Record wires, log finance agreements on Spreadsheet
• File agreements in document management system
• Record daily payments accurately in Agency Management System
• Scan checks for deposit via the remote deposit process
• Reconcile accounts as needed by Management, Co-workers or Clients
• Print Monthly Installments for Agency
• Work receivables weekly
• Set up payment plans if applicable and get approval from Management
• Keep account notes up to date on receivable file

• Education: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
• Works independently
• Has proficiency in office systems, Microsoft, outlook
• 2-5  years of related experience helpful but not required

This role may be performed Hybrid as agreed to by the manager.

Hourly range is $20 to $32 per hour.
