Pay Rate: $18.00/hour to start — Guaranteed $0.50 raises at 90 days, 1 year, and annually thereafter
Schedule: 5:00 am to 1:30 pm (Monday thru Friday)

As a Forklift Operator / Forklift Driver, you’ll play a vital role in our warehouse operations—responsible for the safe and efficient movement of pallets and materials throughout the facility. You’ll focus on loading and unloading trailers, maintaining organized inventory, and ensuring all movements are accurately documented.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain a sit-down forklift to support daily warehouse operations

• Load and unload trailers with accuracy and care

• Move and organize pallets throughout the facility to maintain order and accessibility

• Conduct daily forklift inspections using provided checklists

• Safely refuel or charge forklift tanks following company procedures

• Verify load counts and ensure accurate documentation (paper or electronic)

• Maintain clean and safe work areas at all times

• Adhere to all PLA policies, safety procedures, and federal/state regulations

• Collaborate with team members and managers to meet operational goals

• Assist in other warehouse duties as assigned

• Maintain consistent, dependable attendance and adaptability to business needs

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of forklift operating experience (required)

• Proficiency in operating a sit-down forklift (on-site certification provided if needed)

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

• Strong attention to detail for accuracy in counts and documentation

• Commitment to safety and following all established procedures

• Team-oriented with strong communication and reliability

• Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and stoop throughout the shift

• Capable of light to moderate lifting or pallet movement when needed

• Good hand-eye coordination and foot control for forklift operation

• Ability to hear, see, and respond to equipment sounds and safety signals

Work Environment

• Warehouse setting with exposure to dust, temperature changes, and moderate to high noise levels

• Steel-toed boots and PPE required
