Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Join our team as a Direct Support Professional (DSP), where you'll help individuals achieve their goals and thrive in their communities. DSP's provide personalized care, promote independence, and ensure a safe, supportive environment. Key responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, medication administration, transportation, and documentation of progress.

DSP Schedule, Location, Pay:

• Wednesday 10pm-8:30am
• Thursday 10pm-8:30am
• Friday 10pm-8:30am
• Saturday 10pm-8:30am
• Sunday 10pm-8:30am
• Monday 10pm-8:30am
• Tuesday 10pm-8:30am

Location: Plymouth, MN

Rate of Pay: $15.97/hour asleep; $23.50/hour awake

Requirements

What You Bring as a DSP: Applicants must meet the rate exception qualifications 

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 year's of relevant work experience
• Experience with Autism and nonverbal individuals 
• Driver's License, car insurance, reliable vehicle for work purposes 
• Ability to read, write and speak English at a level that meets the performance requirements; or must be able to communicate in the language spoken by the individual at a level that meets the performance requirements; whichever is deemed more important by the company
• Ability to meet licensing requirements of the state and county 
• Lifting/transferring requirements vary based on assigned caseload. Ability to lift 75 pounds and transfer individuals as needed 
• May be exposed to animals, including but not limited to dogs, cats, pet rodents, birds or pet reptiles
