Description

The Customer Relations Specialist is responsible for facilitating and coordinating all services to ensure customer satisfaction as well as supporting the company and Management Team Members. Primary responsibilities are assigned by the Customer Relations Manager while proactively ensuring smooth team operations and effective collaboration but not limited to the duties and responsibilities listed below.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of customer, vendor, and staff information
  • Promote and maintain sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication
  • Identify and assess customer needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Maintains communication between all departments to ensure production plans support customer promise dates
  • Works closely with purchasing to ensure availability of components to meet purchase order requirements and quoting initiatives
  • Identifying and resolving issues to ensure supply continuity and adherence to customer delivery schedules
  • Handle customer complaints and share with team to provide appropriate solutions; follow up to ensure resolution
  • Responsible for customer order execution, including price review, delivery, release requests from receipts to entry into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
  • Analyzes customer open orders, forecast and shipping requirements
  • Maintains updated information for purchase orders, price and revision changes in ERP
  • Manages the shipping schedule, shipping documents and ensures pick-ups are met
  • Prepares responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries as required
  • Supports the training of Customer Relations Associates and creates a team environment that fosters team engagement and collaboration of day-to-day initiatives
  • Follows Policies, and Procedures of the Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Any other duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Experience in providing customer service support
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a great attitude
  • Ability to interact with staff at all levels and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software as MS office suite
  • At least 3 years of experience providing support and the ability to handle a wide range of external and internal customer support and related tasks
  • Able to work independently with little or no supervision

Working conditions

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, ambient air, fumes, or airborne particles
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but occasionally may be exposed to areas requiring safety equipment

Physical requirements

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job
  • Candidate must be able to perform the physical responsibilities of the job utilizing arms, hands, and fingers to perform required functions of manufacturing parts and performing other duties of the job, e.g., standing, sitting, walking throughout the facility and stairs, bending, squatting, and kneeling, etc.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 35 lbs.

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00/ hour

The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc.
