Decatur Manor, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF) in Decatur, IL, has an Immediate Opening for an Assistant to our Food Services Supervisor. This is a Full Time position. Must be open to working every other weekend. We are giving preference to candidates who have experience working in food service in a healthcare setting NOT a restaurants.

Responsibilities of the Assistant to the Food Services Supervisor:

• Assist with daily dietary tasks as needed
• Assist with Dietary Department Employee Scheduling
• Aide with Prepping and Cooking as needed
• Taking and Recording monthly weights of residents

Qualifications for this position:

• Experience in food service, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Serve Safe Certification and Food Sanitation License required
• Organizational, interpersonal and planning skills
• Strong administrative, managerial and interpersonal skills
• Leadership qualities in Motivating/Directing staff as needed
• Deemed eligible to work in healthcare by the IL Department of Public Health; willing to have a complete background check and fingerprinting if necessary for eligibility

Hourly rate is $16.50 per hour plus:
