The Associate Director of Nursing supports the Dean of Nursing in managing the day-to-day operations of the nursing program, advancing faculty development, and ensuring program compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards. This position provides curricular oversight, student success initiatives, and community engagement while promoting the mission of Bryant & Stratton College. The Associate Director contributes to accreditation readiness (ACEN, CCNE, State Board of Nursing) and ongoing program effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Dean of Nursing with program compliance, reporting, and accreditation activities (ACEN, CCNE, State Board of Nursing).
  • Support curriculum review, revisions, and systematic evaluation activities.
  • Manage ATI data, coaching, and billing processes each semester.
  • Conduct classroom/clinical observations and provide faculty mentorship.
  • Assist with new faculty hiring, onboarding, and development.
  • Support New Student Orientation and student advising initiatives.
  • Serve as Student Nurse Association and NLN ambassador.
  • Participate in clinical site visits and foster strong partner relationships.
  • Coordinate accreditation standard teams and faculty meetings each semester.
  • Oversee special events including pinning ceremonies and alumni engagement.
  • Provide instructional support and substitute teach as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) with unencumbered RN license.
  • Five (5) years of teaching experience in higher education.
  • Two (2) years of recent clinical nursing practice.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, learning technologies, and nursing applications.
  • Commitment to student success, professional integrity, and diversity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree (DNP, EdD, or PhD) in Nursing or considerable progress toward completion.
  • Experience with accreditation preparation and systematic evaluation planning.
  • Expertise in faculty mentorship and curriculum development.
