Pay Range: $65,000 - $95,000
What You’ll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):
- Responsible for the forecast generation for assigned category/channel
- Drive yearly improvements in demand accuracy through continued focus on process improvements (customer level forecasting, demand sensing and shaping techniques, etc)
- Compile and analyze historical data, market trends, promotions and opportunities
- Studies purchase trends against promotions and seasonal performance
- Coordinates and synchronizes new product introductions with brand, sales and key retailers
- Use and maintain current demand-planning systems to create the best forecast possible using established processes
- Assess the impact of market changes or significant variances in the forecast and recommend appropriate revisions and tactics
- Manage statistical forecast exceptions by utilizing demand-planning reports to identify and fix potential issues
- Communicate forecast confidence, including risks and opportunities, to relevant functional groups
- Preparation of relevant reporting/presentations utilized but not limited to monthly forecast alignment and demand reviews
- Conduct accuracy analyses to maintain validity of forecast and assumptions.
- Develop and analyze metrics in concert with customer that track forecast performance
- Report adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs) to internal and external stakeholders
- Develop, monitor and communicate reports on forecast accuracy to business unit and supply chain organizations, while driving continuous improvement
- Assist with daily/weekly report generation and deliver ad-hoc reports as required
- Travel Required – up to 15%
