The Role:

The ServiceNow Platform Owner provides strategic leadership, governance, and vision for the ServiceNow platform across the enterprise.

This role is responsible for maximizing business value, ensuring platform scalability, and driving continuous improvement and innovation. The Platform Owner leads the ServiceNow Center of Excellence, oversees platform strategy, and ensures alignment with organizational goals, working closely with architects, business stakeholders, and IT leadership. The Platform Owner is accountable for platform roadmap, budget, and overall performance, positioning ServiceNow as a true business enabler.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate the ServiceNow platform vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with enterprise objectives.

  • Own platform governance, standards, and policies to ensure compliance, security, and data integrity.

  • Develop and lead the creation of a Global ServiceNow Center of Excellence (CoE), managing internal teams and external partners.

  • Set priorities, allocate budgets, and oversee platform investments.

  • Engage with executive sponsors, business leaders, and IT teams to understand requirements and translate them into platform capabilities.

  • Drive adoption of ServiceNow across business units, ensuring measurable business outcomes and value realization.

  • Moderate between strategic vision and technical implementation, resolving conflicts between customization and standardization.

  • Oversee platform operations, stability, performance, and scalability.

  • Ensure successful deployment, upgrades, and integration of ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, etc.).

  • Monitor platform metrics, analyze adoption rates, and report on business impact.

  • Champion continuous improvement, innovation, and the adoption of new ServiceNow features (including GenAI and analytics).

  • Build and develop a high-performing platform team, including architects, administrators, and developers.

  • Establish roles, responsibilities, and training requirements for platform staff.

  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration

Skills and Attributes:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in ServiceNow platform ownership, product management, or similar leadership roles.

  • Experience leading platform teams and managing budgets in enterprise environments.

  • Deep understanding of ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CMDB, CSDM, etc.).

  • Proven track record of successful ServiceNow implementations and platform management.

  • Strong knowledge of platform governance, data quality, and security best practices.

  • Familiarity with GenAI, analytics, and automation capabilities within ServiceNow.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into platform strategy and measurable outcomes.

  • Ability to deliver complex, time-sensitive projects in a global hybrid work environment.

  • ServiceNow Certified Platform Owner Associate (CPOA) or equivalent.

  • Consistent with the firm’s hybrid work model, this position will require in-person attendance at least two days per week, either at a GT office.

Desirable Characteristics:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA).

  • Experience with M&A integration projects and onboarding new business units.

  • Experience with professional services firms

  • Experience working within an IT organization supported by a managed IT services provider
