Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Product Analyst to support product development efforts by translating high-level business requirements into actionable user stories and technical specifications. This role works closely with the Product Owner, development teams, and other stakeholders to ensure clarity, feasibility, and alignment across all phases of the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Product Owner to break down strategic product goals into detailed functional requirements and user stories.
Work directly with development teams to clarify requirements, define acceptance criteria, and ensure technical feasibility.
Maintain and groom the product backlog, ensuring stories are well-defined, prioritized, and ready for development.
Conduct stakeholder interviews and technical deep dives to gather low-level details and edge cases.
Create and manage documentation in tools such as Confluence and Jira to support sprint planning and execution.
Analyze user feedback, bug reports, and usage data to refine requirements and improve product quality.
Participate in sprint ceremonies including planning, reviews, and retrospectives to support continuous delivery.
Ensure traceability between business objectives and technical implementation through clear documentation and communication.
Support the Product Owner in roadmap planning by providing insights into development capacity and technical constraints.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
12+ years of experience in product analysis, business analysis, or related role.
Technical & Domain Expertise
Understanding of O&G Artificial Lift systems (e.g., ESPs, rod pumps, gas lift) Production, Process Safety, and Measurement workflows.
Required experience in team building IIoT platforms and working with industrial telemetry systems (e.g., SCADA, MQTT, OPC-UA).
Exposure to ML. Generative AI, Digital Twins, and other modern data-driven technologies is a plus.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum teams.
Data & Product Analysis
Uses product usage analytics, market insights, and voice of customer inputs to render targeted requirements.
Product Development & Collaboration
Must have experience elaborating product requirements and translating them into user stories.
Works closely with software developers to ensure alignment between product vision and technical execution.
Acts as a bridge between engineering and product management, interfacing regularly with the Product Manager.
Communication Style
Primarily working supporting internal teams.
Expected to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, especially engineering (Dev, QA, UX) and product teams.
