Manager of Product Marketing, RiverSource chez Ameriprise

We are looking for a Manager - Product Marketing to join the RiverSource Insurance Marketing team! In this role the Product Marketing Manager will plan and implement marketing programs or projects that support company objectives. The job manages the overall planning, crafting and implementation of product marketing programs and training strategies to drive key business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic marketing plans, programs or initiatives to introduce new products and services as well as increase awareness of current business driven product initiatives.

• Work with key business partners throughout the organization to develop strategic messaging as well as an understanding of the organizational needs. Maintain awareness of key corporate messaging across the organization to ensure marketing strategies and initiatives reflect the business’s key priorities.

• Drive measurable program results. Track program participation and results and provide recommendations for improvements, execute approved recommendations quickly. Reports and tracks budget.

• Plan and implement marketing programs, training & education strategies, and advisor engagement initiatives to drive adoption of our solutions and strengthen relationships with advisors. 

• Support communication plans and content delivery across channels.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent.

• 5-7 years of relevant experience.  

• Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to translate complex concepts into easy-to-understand language.

• Ability to think strategically, coach and influence people at all levels of the organization. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Financial Services experience preferred.

• Insurance experience preferred.

• Program management experience preferred.

• Event planning and coordination experience preferred.

The estimated base salary for this role is $80,100 - $108,100 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
