Tata Consulting Engineers USA, LLC, (TCE), is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design, project support, procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries.

Position Summary:

IT project manager to assist with several IT project intiatives for a chemical processing manufacturing facility.  Position is located onsite five days a week.

Responsibilities:

IT Document Development:

General IT Policies

Incident Response

Diagram updates and creation

Instruction Manual Development

Contract Review and Management

IT Training Program Development

 

 

IT Equipment and Software Consulting and Management:

Purchasing Research and Support

Budget Development/RFP’s

Possible Equipment Installation Support

End-of-Life Equipment Destruction

Existing On-Site Equipment, Accessories, Organization, Destruction, (Asset Management)

Develop Equipment and Software Replacement and Update Schedules

Research and Development of New Technology to Enhance and Improve Processes

 

 

IT Vendor Management and Support:

Work with Japan

Work with Japan’s vendors

Work with two IT firms, one local (Advantage Technology), One Out of State (Mercury and Earth)

Possible supervision of an intern/co-op for a few weeks for grunt work

 

 

Possible Support for Special IT Projects:

Camera Maintenance and Installation

Security System Maintenance

UPS Replacement

Possible Telecommunications Projects

 

 

Operational Technology (OT) (DCS Equipment and Software, equipment that runs the plant):

OT Document Development

General OT Policies

Incident Response

Diagram Updates and Creation

Instruction Manual Development

Contract Review and Management

 

 

OT Training Program Development:

OT Equipment and Software Consulting and Management

Purchasing Research and Support

Budget Development/RFP’s

End-of-Life Equipment Destruction

OT Vendor Management and Support:

Work with Japan

Work with Yokogawa, OT Vendor

 

Meetings weekly/monthly and progress reports:

Highly unlikely, but an occasional evening meeting with Japan or perhaps an evening or weekend installation project

 

 

Qualifications:

Experienced in DCS Equipment and Software

Experience with IT vendor management and support

Experienced with IT Equipment and Software Consulting and Management

Education Requirements:

Bachelors' Degree in related field.
