As a Corporate Payroll Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing payroll operations and maintaining data integrity. You will process payroll, audit time records and ensure that all new hire and change form entries are accurately recorded. • Processes payroll within Company assigned frequencies, which includes compiling payroll data such as hours worked, taxes, insurance, and withholding union dues, and preparing and issuing paychecks.
• Processes timely and accurate wage assignments, garnishments, child support orders, and employment verifications.
• Audits all system entries for new hires, status and compensation change and termination submissions with the support of the HR Data Entry team.
• Responds and resolves payroll inquiries in a timely and compliance manner and within prescribed methods.
• Analyzes payroll reports such as Certified Payroll, Job Cost Association, Gross Payroll Registers, Vacation Reports to ensure accurate and timely tracking and accruals.
• Supports reconciliation of outstanding payroll checks with the corporate Accounting team.

• High School diploma / GED required.
• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience with in-house payroll processing.
• UKG and/or Dayforce experience preferred. 
• Union, Construction, Prevailing Wage payroll knowledge preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite of products preferred.
