JOB SUMMARY:
The Cyber Engineer Integrator supports North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) on the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II. Trace3 Gov’s team provides engineering expertise and IT services in support of various NORAD, NORTHCOM, USSTRATCOM, and US Space Force Command and Control (C2) missions.
Experience supporting capability development, delivery, and sustainment of Command and Control (C2) systems within an Agile environment supporting the missile warning, missile defense, and space domain awareness (SDA) domains is highly desired.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for developing strategic procedures and upgrades, as well as improving network and system configurations.
- Analyze infrastructure operations, assess vulnerabilities, and evaluate efficiency to support mission-capable functions and deliverables.
- Maintain the safety and security of network and system infrastructure by ensuring accurate vulnerability patching and smooth operational navigation—especially in preventing unauthorized access and ensuring systems operate in a predictive manner.
- Possess excellent knowledge of the technology industry and current trends, along with a strong command of cyber procedures and policies.
This position will be filled and worked onsite in Colorado Springs, CO.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years of experience
PREFERRED TECHNICIAL SKILL & CERTIFICATIONS:
- DoD 8570 IAT II – ability to obtain within 90 days of starting
- 6+ years of experience performing system administration or system engineer duties in windows or Linux
- 7 years or more of general work experience
- Experience with educating an organization and clients about the cyber patching of the systems, networks, and cyber integration patching vulnerability procedure, its implementation, and its use
- Experience handling a broad range of support for servers, desktops, and network devices working with different Operating Systems (OS) from Windows 2016-2022, Windows 10-11, Linux, RHEL and Unix.
- Experience with the use of ACAS, STIG’s, Nessus, Splunk and CheckMarx or Fortify on network and other infrastructure devices
- Experience analyzing cyber support vulnerabilities reports such as ACAS scans and any other documentation on policy and procedures
- Experience defining cyber integration strategies and methods and then planning them in accordance with established deadlines and time schedules
- Experience creating and providing technical documentation that explains upcoming or existing integration patches to nontechnical individuals
- Worked in an integration environment on previous projects.
SECURITY CLEARANCE: Secret Clearance, TS/SCI preferred
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, or equivalent experience
