Work Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours weekly

Here is what you will need:
- High School diploma or equivalent;
- Strong verbal communication and listening skills;
- Energetic and flexible;
- Manages multiple projects and timelines;
- Well organized and detail oriented;
- Exhibits sound judgment;
- Forms strong working relationships within team;
- Identifies additional tasks to be completed and willingly assists others;
- Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite required;
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology preferred;
- Minimum two years’ experience in healthcare or customer service environment preferred;
- College coursework or Certified Medical Assistant preferred.
- Clinical training and competency verification by Washington Radiology Clinical Education Program as required
A Day in the Life of a Clinical Assistant II:
- Provide services and support for the following areas:
- Facilitates appropriate patient flow between registration and modalities to ensure proper care is provided in a timely manner;
- Chaperones radiologists as needed;
- Properly sets up trays for procedures; assists radiologists or technologists with procedures as required;
- Proficient in the use of RIS/PACS and Penrad/MagView
- Schedules patients for appropriate follow up and/or additional exams; obtains appropriate orders;
- Verifies and or inputs patient information (demographic, insurance and contact information) into system 100% of the time;
- Explains and assists patients with completion of forms on an as needed basis;
- Track and obtain pathology results for data outcomes reporting;
- Scans documents and links to patient medical records on an as needed basis;
- Proficient in handling calls for general patient questions, i.e. directions, hours of operation, etc.;
- Refers questions regarding medical results to a clinical team member 100% of the time;
- Maintains patient confidentiality 100% of the time;
- Adheres to attendance policy;
- Participates in front office training, as requested;
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Limitations to scope of practice:
- Can only freeze and print images in ultrasound under the direction of a radiologist who is scanning in the room;
- Can explain procedure and act as a witness, but final informed consent is responsibility of the radiologist;
- Cannot manage medications, only a radiologist may draw up medications;
- Completion of pathology requisitions require radiologist review and confirmation for accuracy.
- Bone density examinations may only be performed after written authorization from Solis University Clinical Education Program and is limited by state regulations.:
