Team Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill the position of Engineering Inspector I - LTA. The Engineering Inspector I - LTA position reports to the Engineering Inspections Supervisor.
The primary job duties of this position include:
- Perform inspections and coordinate related inspection activities.
- Ensure utility installations are installed at proper depth and alignment as noted in the approved plans and adopted standards.
- Perform pre-construction meetings with contractors and utility providers.
- Ensure dry utility installations meet Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) Standards and details, as well as all adopted Town Standards.
- Document and enter inspection information in computer databases.
- Document inspections in the Town's electronic permitting software.

This position is At-Will and FLSA Non-Exempt - eligible for overtime compensation.

Position Duties

- High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
- 1-2 years of experience, such as engineering, project management, construction inspection, materials testing, or related field (Engineering)
- Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job classification.
- Valid AZ Driver's License.
