We’re seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our Modernisation Sales team based in Mascot. In this pivotal role, you will set and execute both short-term and long-term sales and customer relationship strategies that align with the unit’s overarching business objectives.

You will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and empowering a high-performing sales team—driving excellence through strategic coaching, continuous development, and effective sales execution. Your leadership will be key to achieving and exceeding ambitious sales targets while fostering strong, lasting customer partnerships.

What will you be doing?

  • Proactively develop customer relationships and have a connection with people in the business

  • Lead a team of motivated and driven sales professionals

  • Understand customer needs and requirements to capitalise on all lead opportunities, orders and contracts

  • Ensure your team are meeting sales targets and ensure margins are within KONE guidelines

  • Build key relationships and drive alignment with internal stakeholders

  • Weekly/Monthly reporting and forecasting

  • Estimating, tendering and quoting small and large project submissions and actively following up

  • Demonstrated sales management experience, within a fast-paced commercial environment

  • Ensures development of customer relationships, profitability, customer loyalty and satisfaction

  • Previous experience building a high performing sales culture

  • A passion for sales, with a proven track record and a strong customer focus

  • Highly motivated with ability to lead, engage and mentor a team – a people first mentality

  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills

  • A data driven mindset

  • Strong experience with reporting, forecasting and pricing
