Intake Specialist chez Lehan Drugs, Inc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Verify medical insurance eligibility and benefits for patients, as needed.
• Navigate insurance portals to confirm coverage and deductible met amounts.
• Explain Coverage and benefits to other staff and patients.
• Contact patients for updated insurance information.
• Review insurance contracts and medical policies to confirm benefits.
• Other roles and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years experience with medical insurance verification or billing, required.
• Microsoft Word/Excel proficiency, required

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Medical equipment experience, preferred.
• Brightree software experience, preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
