HR Generalist
📍 Location: 1 Dixon Square, Chestertown, MD 21620
🕒 Shift Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
💲 Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

The Dixon Group is looking for a dedicated and people-centered HR Generalist to join our team in Chestertown, MD! As our HR Generalist, you will be instrumental in supporting our people. You will contribute to the talent lifecycle, participating in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding. You'll serve as a trusted partner by navigating employee relations with empathy and strong conflict resolution skills , while overseeing vendor relationships to optimize HR partnerships. You'll drive efficiency by utilizing HRIS systems to maintain accurate records, streamline operations, and prepare correspondence and reports. You will also manage schedules, organize information, and assist with various projects. Above all, you must maintain integrity by consistently handling all confidential information with the utmost discretion and trustworthiness. 🚚 What You'll Do:
- Participate in the full talent acquisition lifecycle, including recruiting, hiring, and onboarding.
- Oversee vendor relationships, optimizing our HR partnerships.
- Navigate employee relations matters with empathy and strong conflict resolution skills.
- Utilize HRIS systems and processes to maintain accurate records and streamline operations.
- Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
🎯 What We're Looking For:
- A Bachelor's degree in HR Management and/or Business.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, benefits/compensation, vendor management, and employee relations.
- Strong technical proficiency with HRIS systems and processes.
- A people-centered approach with excellent active listening skills, conflict resolution abilities, and a talent for navigating relationships with employees and managers at all levels.
- Experience with Business Intelligence, HR analytics and metrics.
