Citizens National Bank has an excellent opportunity available in our Bluffton market for a Customer Care Representative. In this role you will receive and/or place telephone calls/chat sessions, answer inquiries, resolve problems, promote and sells products and services. 

A typical day may include the following: 

  • Receives and/or places telephone calls, emails and live chat to answer inquiries, resolve problems, and sell products and services. 
  • Must have stellar communication skills to assist with account inquiries and help with computer/technical troubleshooting.
  • Assesses customer needs to determine appropriate products and services.
  • Communicates product information in a manner that inspires the confidence of the customer, or prospect, and the desire to bank with Citizens National Bank. 
  • Navigates a computerized data entry and customer information system or other relevant applications for tracking, information gathering and trouble-shooting. 
  • Works effectively with organization teams to achieve goals. 
  • This position requires on-site presence for regular, successful performance: teamwork, face-to-face interaction with peers/management and the ability to utilize the in-house software and hardware is required. Adherence to the Bank attendance policy is required as an essential function of this position. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One to three years previous customer service experience, preferable banking or financial services industry. 

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have stellar written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism
  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Must have the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. 
  • Proficiency in computer software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must maintain a well-developed working knowledge of the bank's products and services, along with the applicable regulations and operating systems. 
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
