Responsibilities include:
- Lumber Handler is responsible for safely handling, sorting, and stacking rough cut lumber by dimension, species, and grade
- Ensure lumber is placed accurately and neatly into the appropriate cart
- Working in open warehouses and keeping work areas safe and clean
- May perform other duties as required associated with handling of wood products
Requirements include:
- Must be safety conscious, have a positive attitude and work well in a team environment
- Must have and maintain excellent attendance record
- Work at a fast pace and be detail oriented team player
- Pre-employment drug-screen required
- Candidates must be able to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis
- Always required to wear personal protective equipment
- Cross train in other production related jobs
- An all-around positive work attitude, at all times
