Let's talk about the role

As a Trainee Tax Advisor you’ll be fully immersed with our experienced Tax team, learning to provide great advice to clients. Life will be fast paced, engaging, creative and rewarding.
 
It’s a great opportunity to develop and progress within a forward-thinking and fast-paced firm. You’ll:
 
Assisting the team with the completion of tax compliance
Assisting with tax administration duties including logging information, scanning client records & billing
Being part of a talented team, adding value to the exceptional work we deliver
Preparing self-assessment personal tax returns, including advising clients of their tax liabilities
Collating information and preparing P11D forms for limited companies
Dealing with HMRC correspondence or enquiries
Preparing small accounts for sole traders

Let's talk about you and your skills...

Hungry for a new challenge:

  • You will have – or be expecting – a 2:1 degree, in addition to A levels in any subject at grades B and above (or equivalent).
  • You will commence study on the ATT CTA Tax Pathway to complete both the ATT (Association of Taxation Technicians) and CTA (Chartered Tax Adviser) qualifications.
  • You will demonstrate good communication and organisational skills, and a willingness to learn.
  • Some experience of tax matters, either through study or work experience, would help in demonstrating a desire to progress as a tax professional.
