Under direct supervision, responsible for performing a variety of noninvasive hemodynamic evaluations to detect obstructions, as ordered by a physician.
Responsibilities
- Performs routine and advanced vascular testing and related duties for the diagnosis of vascular disease, in a patient care and/or academic/research environment.
- Writes preliminary impressions of test results.
- Reviews and discusses findings with proper physician.
- Assists with the preparation of case studies and documentation for accreditation of the Vascular Lab by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) vascular testing.
- Ensures exams are completed and reports done in the appropriate manner and time.
- Provides assistance to patients and staff members as needed.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of hemodynamics relative to vascular arterial disease, and knowledge of standards for International Accreditation Commission in Vascular Testing (IAC).
- Able to perform portable studies in any setting as ordered by physicians.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, with proficiency in Microsoft word/ data entry in EMR’s.
- Ability to work efficiently, independently, with good organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain strict protocols of all confidential or sensitive information.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
EDUCATION:
Associates degree or two (2) years in an allied health care training program is required.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Certified as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or (RVS) by a testing agency recognized by IAC.

- Front-loaded Paid Time Off: 128 to 208 hours (16 to 26 days) of Paid Time Off based on years of service, given at the start of each fiscal year. PTO may be prorated in year one based on date of hire.
