What’s the role?
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Support Analyst to join our growing and dynamic Consumer Service management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, scalability, observability and performance of Westpac Groups Open Banking Service. The role also includes evaluating Open Banking technical integrations (new capabilities to our new API platform) from internal teams and vendors, assisting with diagnosing root cause for customer and internal IT incidents, managing vendors and assisting in maturing the Service Management processes in this space.
There will also be opportunities to expand your knowledge in other customer facing digital systems such as Westpac’s Internet banking, PING identity and Websites.
What do I need?
To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record in a technical support or a software engineering role, preferably on customer facing or Identity and access management systems.. In addition, you will need:
- Proficiency in API development & Functional testing.
- Strong Understanding of:
- REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, IAM, OAUTH2, YAML, Swagger, API gateway technology, SQL queries.
- Java 1.8 or above - for code & issue analysis
- Phoenix HBase knowledge - for DB analysis
- AppDynamics and Splunk
- PING
- Networking principles and associated technology
- Pipelines
- Identity and access management systems
- .NET framework
- Good knowledge of languages - to help aid in API exploration, prototype development, issue resolution and other tasks.
