Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Imaging Assist to provide intermediate to advanced technical support in a fast-paced clinical environment. In this vital role, you’ll work closely with technologists, patients, and staff to ensure seamless imaging services.Here’s a glimpse of what you can expect when working with us:

  • Assisting technologists during imaging exams to enhance efficiency and patient comfort
  • Educating patients on exam preparation and ensuring a smooth, supportive experience
  • Coordinating patient flow within the imaging department and managing inpatient transport
  • Handling critical administrative tasks such as correspondence, paperwork processing, and report generation
  • Utilizing imaging PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) for efficient data management

  • Demonstrates strong expertise in patient safety, exceptional attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering exceptional support and customer service in a fast-paced imaging environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required

Experience

  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare environment required or Successful completion/current enrollment in a nursing or allied health program required
  • Experience working in Medical Imaging preferred

 Licenses and Certifications

  • BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
