Job Summary
The Logistics Technician performs all duties associated with the general warehouse and venue activity, including receiving, stocking, handling, picking, staging, packing, inspecting, truck loading, inventory accountability, organization, and driving fleet vehicles for pickup and delivery of company assets.
Essential Functions
- Safely and efficiently operate Company vehicle in the transport and pickup of equipment.
- Ensure timely delivery and return of all transferred equipment, including sub rentals.
- Follow proper processes, quality control and procedures (SOPs) to ensure all inbound and outbound shipments are properly received and documented to ensure safekeeping of all company assets.
- Maintain company vehicles in accordance with vehicle guidelines.
- Operate all warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, lifts, vehicles) in accordance with safety standards and regulations or move, store, and load company assets.
- Manage multiple tasks and priorities to ensure on-time completion.
- Assist in the timely set up and strike of audio-visual equipment in a venue environment, if applicable.
- Conduct warehouse-level (and venue-level, if applicable) physical inventory audits as directed in an efficient and effective manner to ensure full accountability of all company assets.
- Assist with overall organization, cleanliness, routine maintenance for building and fleet vehicles.
- Continually work toward enhancing and improving technical skills to include audio, video/data, staging, lighting and computer operation and networking.
- Improve working knowledge of industry trends, tools, and innovations on an ongoing basis.
- Complies with all safety regulations, policies, and training guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Develop a working knowledge of company inventory and other related equipment.
- Follows and acts in accordance with all company rules and policies regarding general operation of the company, including but not limited to working hours, procedures, and specific company rules.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Prior exposure to audio visual and/or hospitality industry
- Computer proficiency (hardware, software, and networking)

- Previous experience in delivery driving, box truck operation, or warehouse work is preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is at times required to sit at a desk and other times to operate in a non-climate-controlled warehouse and be able to lift up to 60 pounds. The minimum physical requirements include the ability to regularly push, pull, reach overhead at or above shoulder level, lift and carry, stoop, crouch, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
