Program Coordinator for Brandywine Counseling's STARS Mobile Outreach Program

We promote hope and empowerment to persons and families touched by mental illness, substance abuse, HIV and multiple occurring diagnoses, and their related challenges.
What You'll Do with BCCS as a STARS Program Coordinator:
- Focus on providing mobile and community-based treatment to the following populations: OUD disorders (with and without co-occurring disorders), IV drug users, homeless, LGBTQ+, veterans, individuals living with HIV/HCV, and minority groups in rural areas of Kent and Sussex Counties.
- Provide medication assisted treatment and other treatment services to the populations listed above in a mobile or community setting, completing intakes with 75 individuals per years and 375 individuals over the five-year contract period.
- Complete a GPRA questionnaire at intake at 6 months and at discharge,
- Supervise the STARS team, which consists of a medical technician, a peer recovery specialist, and a counselor.
- Provide clinical supervision to the clinical team and for the Milford location, including clinical documentation, review/approval of clinical records, supervision of staff in weekly supervision meetings, intakes, and counseling sessions as needed. Provide direction and performance feedback to staff.
- Enhance a positive group culture within the program.
- Seek to continuously improve client satisfaction and follow up appropriately in a timely manner on client issues and/or complaints.
- Take initiative in identifying and solving problems.
- Oversee the STARS contract by ensuring that all contract obligations are met, and continuous review of outcomes needed per contract. Complete required data collection and reporting, continuously recruit community sites and staff as need to fulfill scope of services. Maintain all necessary reports in compliance with the contract and participate in all conference calls/meetings pertaining to the STARS contract.
- Seeks ways to improve the overall efficiency of the program with the goal of reducing overhead expenses wherever possible while meeting all contractual requirements.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field
- REQUIRED: 1 year of supervisory experience in a treatment setting.
- REQUIRED: CADC (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor) or CCDP (Certified Co-Occurring Disorders Professional)
- PREFERRED: Master's degree in human services or a related field
- PREFERRED: 3 years of supervisory experience in a treatment setting
- PREFERRED: LCSW or LPC
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- 5:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
- Evenings / weekends as needed for community events.
- Hours are subject to change when treatment vehicle goes mobile, and community mobile sites are added.
Pay:
- Starting at $29.80/hour
- Commensurate based on experience and education!
