Information about the Company: Cenveo is a leading North American manufacturer of envelopes with approximately 30 billion envelopes manufactured annually. We are seeking experienced Machine Adjuster Trainees in our Kirksville, MO manufacturing plant for 2nd & 3rd shifts.
Please Note: This is a developmental role that requires the individual to be successfully progressing to a Machine Adjuster position by successfully completing the training. The individual's performance will be evaluated to determine progress in and suitability for the role.
Adjuster Trainee Pay/Schedule:
- Pay $20.33hr + shift premiums for 2nd & 3rd shifts
- 2nd sift premium $1.25/hr / 3rd shift premium $1.50/hr
- 2nd shift 3pm -- 11pm / 3rd shift 11pm -- 7am
- Flexibility to train on any shift
- Schedule: Mon - Fri / Sat required during busy season/based on business needs.
Adjuster Trainee Responsibilities & Daily Duties:
- Basic understanding and ability to operate an envelope machine
- Entry-level Machine Packer Training included
- Read and understand job packet and specifications
- Perform checks and roll changes
- Clear paper jams; restart machine
- Maintain ink and gum levels; perform viscosity testing
- Basic understanding and ability to make print changes
- Ability to mount plates; register color; troubleshoot
- Basic understanding and ability to window changes
- Identify correct window die, gummer, tooling
- Remove/install dies and gummer; troubleshoot
- Basic understanding and ability to make a full change
- Ability to complete size changes
- Remove/install parts; Time parts of machine to produce correct sized envelope
- Overtime as needed; Compliance with safety rules and regulations.
- Maintains clean machine and work area (sweeps, removes waste, etc).
- Other duties and assignments as required.
Adjuster Trainee Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Regular standing, walking, carrying, climbing, reaching, bending, stooping.
- Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds with assistance.
- Exposure to production equipment, noise, hazardous materials (inks, solvents, glue, etc.).
- Must be able to work in hot or cold weather.
- Ability to handle high-speed delivery output in a standing position for a full shift.
- Mental alertness to stop equipment when jam occurs.
