Are you an experienced Financial Analyst looking for a challenge? We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Toy, Game, Licensing & Entertainment (TGLE) Portfolio team! The TGLE Portfolio team serves as a strategic, cross-functional hub spanning Toy & Game, Licensing, and Entertainment. The Senior Financial Analyst, TGLE Portfolio plays a crucial role in driving Hasbro’s financial performance across the enterprise. With exposure to the full P&L, this position is accountable for supporting forecasting, tracking, and analysis across multiple business segments and functions. They will analyze data, create forecasts, and deliver reports that help guide pivotal initiatives. Their day-to-day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on budgeting, financial planning, and performance analysis, while also contributing to special projects and continuous process improvements. Effective from the date that Hasbro opens its new Boston location, this position will be onsite Tuesday - Thursday at Hasbro's new HQ location in Boston, MA.  In the interim, this position will be onsite Tuesday - Thursday at Hasbro's HQ in Pawtucket, RI.

 

A day in the life as a Senior Financial Analyst :

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis and modeling to support business decisions.
  • Prepare and present reports on financial performance, trends, and projections.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor expenses and manage financial targets.
  • Provide insights into financial risks and opportunities, recommending actionable steps.

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certification (CPA, CIMA) is a plus.
  • 2 - 5 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, or a related role (within CPG or retail environment is a plus).
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are essential, with the ability to visualize data through Excel.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, and financial analysis software (including data visualization and charting tools - Tableau, Power BI, Think-Cell) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-financial partners.
  • Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical mentality with attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities, as well as learning agility.
  • Experience collaborating across functions and geographies and influencing business decisions.

The base salary range for this position is $83,900.00 to $125,900.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
