Centurion is proud to be the provider of mental health services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a full-time Statewide DEA Compliance Manager to support our Maryland team.
The DEA Compliance Manager serves as a regulatory expert regarding federal DEA and Maryland state specific controlled substance regulations and licensing requirements.
Qualifications
- Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree is required
- Master’s Degree is preferred, specifically in criminal justice, law enforcement, or related fields
- Top Secret Security Clearance preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with DEA is required, preferably in a leadership position
- Minimum of 5 years of experience preforming pharmacy audits and internal investigations related to controlled substance diversion, misuse, and non-compliance, recommending corrective actions and driving resolution
- Experience performing Opioid Treatment Program audits and managing compliance
- Experience implementing, auditing, and enforcing new systems, policies, and procedures regarding the prevention of controlled substance diversion and DEA compliance
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Strong investigative and analysis skills
- Must have ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally with staff and institutional administration
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
