Additional Information: Show/Hide Schools must have effective substitutes who will take the responsibility to ensure that the educational process is not interrupted when the regular teacher is absent. As a substitute teacher applicant, you are asking to work with us in accomplishing our mission. If you accept a substitute assignment in one of our schools, you should consider yourself a teacher with the responsibility that goes with the teacher assignment.
For the Roving Substitute position, you will work everyday covering teachers who are attending meetings. This position requires the substitute to be flexible in their assignment because it will vary according to the meeting times and the locations of the teachers attending their meetings. If no meetings are scheduled for the day, the Roving Substitute will be assigned to an unfilled vacancy within the District.
This position does not offer benefits through the school. Pay will be at a substitute teacher rate.
