Summary
The IT Operations Intern as part of the CSS IT team will support CSS Farms’ systems in network, system structure, reporting and security efforts. As a IT Operations Intern, you will gain exposure to our business through organizing datasets, aligning and monitoring data collection activities (related to finance, operations, and HR), and meeting internal and external stakeholder reporting needs.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Evaluate, test and recommend new digital technologies and applications.
- Be a part of the CSS Center of Excellence for collecting, aggregating and updating CSS Farms data according to the data governance requirements.
- Provide software testing on internal systems, reporting bugs to the software development team.
- Provide first-level technical support to users via phone, email, or in person.
- Assist with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Log, track, and update help desk tickets using the IT service management system.
- Support the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Help install and update software applications under supervision.
- Maintain IT inventory records and assist with equipment audits.
- Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate team members or senior technicians.
- Follow company IT policies and procedures, maintaining data security and confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing a Career in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
- Familiarity with data collection software and protocols
Desired Qualifications
- Microsoft Power Platform experience (Power BI, Power Apps, etc.)
- Experience in setting up databases and datasets for Agronomy, Financial activities and processes.
- Possess excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Are excellent communicators; asking for and valuing positive and constructive feedback to grow within your role and career.
- Familiarity with database fundamentals.
