Astorg is a leading European private equity firm partnering with ambitious management teams to build global leaders. The Operations team supports our portfolio companies on value-creation topics—including digital, data, and technology.
The Opportunity
Join Astorg’s Operations – Digital team for a 6-month internship and help design and scale digital across the portfolio to maximize value creation. You’ll work on hands-on initiatives with senior stakeholders, with exposure to C-levels in portfolio companies as well as Astorg Directors and Managing Directors.
Key Responsibilities
- Support cross-portfolio initiatives: Help run our Digital Community, events, and learning expeditions; coordinate agendas, speakers, and follow-ups.
- Project execution: Assist in planning and delivering strategic digital initiatives—PMO support, stakeholder coordination, risk/issue tracking, and reporting.
- Drive AI adoption: Help push and monitor the adoption of AI (incl. GenAI) across portfolio companies—identify high-impact use cases, track rollout and outcomes, and share best practices.
- Analytics & insights: Analyze initiative performance; produce dashboards and recommendations to improve impact and adoption.
- Build our Digital Value-Creation Playbook: Contribute frameworks, templates, and case studies (e.g., product & data strategy, GenAI use cases, tooling, KPIs).
- Executive communication: Prepare crisp presentations, briefs, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Tools & vendors: Assist in evaluating digital tools/technologies and vendors that address portfolio needs (e.g., data/analytics, martech, engineering productivity, security, HR tech).
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Education: Master’s degree in progress (Business, Engineering, Data/CS, or similar) from a top-tier school / university, currently completing your last year, with previous experinece in a fast-paced environment (investment banking, consulting or private equity industry)
- Skills:
- Strong project management and organization; ability to drive timelines and follow-ups.
- Analytical rigor (Excel/Sheets) and clear storytelling (PowerPoint/Slides).
- Excellent communication in English and French
- Genuine interest in technology and AI (incl. GenAI) and their business impact.
- Nice to have:
- Familiarity with modern digital stacks (cloud/SaaS), data/BI tools, collaboration apps (Notion/Coda, Miro), and emerging tech.
- Experience running events or communities.
