Join Our Leadership Team as an Enterprise Data Architecture Manager!
The Role:
We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Enterprise Data Architecture Manager to lead the design, development, and execution of our next-generation data platform. This role blends strategic architectural leadership with hands-on management. You will not only guide and mentor a team of talented data engineers but also stay directly engaged in coding, pipeline development, and solution delivery.
In this highly visible position, you will establish enterprise-wide coding and data architecture standards while aligning strategies with business goals. Your leadership will drive initiatives that power analytics, business intelligence, AI/ML models, conversational AI (chatbots), and enterprise-scale integrations. Working closely with senior leadership, and business stakeholders, you will help shape our data-driven culture and deliver solutions that generate sustainable business value.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Architecture & Strategy
- Define, evolve, and communicate the enterprise data architecture using modern cloud infrastructure.
- Establish best practices for data modeling, pipeline design, performance optimization, and governance.
- Architect solutions supporting AI/ML and LLM initiatives, including vector databases, embeddings, and real-time streaming.
- Evaluate and implement technologies across Snowflake, Databricks, CosmosDB, and other cloud tools.
- Partner with leaders across IT, analytics, and the business to ensure alignment with long-term strategic objectives.
- Hands-On Delivery
- Guide delivery teams in applying best practices for architecture, testing, automation, and monitoring.
- Provide guardrails for reusable frameworks, orchestration, and infrastructure as code.
- Contribute to proof of concepts and technology evaluations to accelerate adoption of emerging tools.
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of enterprise data pipelines and platforms.
- Team Leadership
- Mentor and coach data engineers, fostering technical excellence and career growth.
- Navigate teams through complex architectural trade-offs, balancing short-term results with strategic vision.
- Drive accountability through clear goals, constructive feedback, and open communication.
- Build a culture of innovation, learning, and collaboration.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of progressive experience in enterprise data architecture, or related leadership roles.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-scale programs.
- Deep expertise in Snowflake (RBAC, data sharing, performance tuning).
- Hands-on experience with AI/LLM architectures, including vector databases and unstructured data pipelines.
- Proficiency in pipeline orchestration, real-time streaming, CosmosDB optimization, and Databricks.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across technical and business lines.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple high-priority projects in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to travel 10-15% between Columbus, Indiana and Greene, New York.

Where and When You’ll Work:
- This is a hybrid role based out of our Greene, New York or Columbus, Indiana office, with flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days per week.
Compensation & Benefits Package:
Salary: $133,600 - $171,200 per year. Compensation is based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience.
