DSS, Inc. is a leading health information software development and systems integration company, offering services and solutions utilized daily by thousands of clinicians and administrative staff across both public and private sectors nationwide.
The Financial Operations Specialist will support DSS, Inc and its subsidiaries financial operations through accurate transaction processing, vendor management and cross-functional coordination. This position is responsible for assisting receivable and payable workflows within NetSuite ERP systems, ensuring financial data integrity and supporting administrative functions of the company.
The Financial Operations Specialist will:
- Accurately enter vendor invoices using specific NetSuite coding and classifications
- Update vendor profile records and ongoing vendor maintenance within NetSuite
- Assist with uploading vendor payment documentation to NetSuite
- Accumulate receipts and reconcile AMEX transactions for company cards
- Additional A/P duties at the discretion of A/P Manager
- Petty Cash reconciliation
- Post customer cash receipts across multiple entities, ensuring proper allocation
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and ethical financial practices
Business Support & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Support business administration and finance and with documentation, reporting, and transaction history
- Assist in shareholder report generation and/or stockholder certificates
Operational Support (As Needed)
- Provide occasional support for front office functions including visitor coordination, shipping, catering, and phone call answering and routing
SECURITY AND PRIVACY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Individuals working for DSS will be subject to security and privacy requirements as explained in HIPAA, FedRAMP, and NIST 800-53. Additionally, they are required to undergo specific FedRAMP training to ensure compliance with all associated controls and responsibilities in the day-to-day performance of their duties. Individuals working in departments that are considered to be in the high risk category will be required to undergo advanced training based on their role and level of access. Individuals with access to modify data and the configuration baseline will require further training.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- 5 + in financial operations, accounts receivable/payable, or related role
- Strong experience in financial operations, accounts receivable/payable, or related roles
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines
- Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Customer service orientation with strong communication and negotiation skills
Desired
- Familiar with NetSuite ERP accounting software
EDUCATION
Required:
- High School Diploma: – combination of experience and education considered
