DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate Hurco CNC vertical machines using conversational programming and NC code generated from CAM software.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, short-run style production environment with frequent part changes.
- Program new jobs while current parts are running to maximize machine utilization and throughput.
- Confirm machine and job assignments with leadership at the beginning of each shift or job.
- Produce precision parts to customer specifications and within acceptable production timeframes.
- Follow and execute all written and verbal instructions from documentation, including Shop Travelers, Inspection Sheets, blueprints, and work orders.
- Perform and document in-process inspections to ensure product quality.
- Communicate promptly with Quality Control, Supervisor, or Plant Manager regarding any part issues, non-conformances, or concerns.
- Unload and package finished parts according to JBT Machining and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate daily records of job activities including quantities, run times, and scrap data in both Shop Travelers and the ERP system.
- Perform required preventative maintenance on assigned equipment; monitor machines for abnormal conditions and report issues to maintenance or leadership.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with 5S procedures and JBT Machining Safety Policies.
- Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhere to all company safety protocols.
- Maintain all required documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Gibbs or Hurco Conversational experience preferred.
- 3axis and 4axis vertical mill experience preferred.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving and attention to detail.
- The ability to multitask on a wide variety of projects.

Wage Range: $22.00 - $31.00/hour
Shift: 1st (Monday-Thursday: 6am-4:30pm, Friday: 6am-11am)
