Support Analyst Level I | Full Time | Information Technology chez Hillsdale Hospital

Work Schedule

• Full time, 40 hours per week 
• 7am - 3:30pm, Monday through Friday 
• Shared on-call coverage

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required
• Associate Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience and technical training is required
• Some experience in an IT environment preferred
• Experience in a fast paced, customer service environment is also preferred. A+ or other certifications are an asset

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software technology. This includes, but is not limited to, Microsoft Office, CPSI, and other applications used by the hospital
• Answering and resolving helpdesk support calls in a timely fashion. Productivity benchmarks will be based on the number of issues and resolution time
• Reporting any escalated technical issues that are outside the scope of knowledge in a timely fashion to the System Administrator and/or Director of IT. This includes, but is not limited to, proper communication and documentation of the transition of support
• Logging helpdesk support calls which include, but is not limited to, the description of the problem, any error messages that were received, and the resolution of the problem as well as any follow up that may need to be done
• Troubleshooting and providing support and maintenance of the telephone system
• Providing after hours on call support in a timely and courteous manner
• Maintaining a good rapport with other departments and understanding their needs while adhering to priority levels set by the I.T. Department
• Monitoring and maintaining the A/V equipment used in conference rooms. This includes, but is not limited to, setting up, taking down, and preparing the equipment for webinars (making sure users can log in to websites, apps installed if necessary, etc.)
• Completing additional projects as assigned in a timely manner
• Perform other duties as required or assigned
