Salary Range (non Exempt):  $45-55K 

Candidates can reside in one of the following states:  AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, ID, IN, KY, LA, MI, MO, MS, NC, NV, OH, OK, SC, PA, TN, TX, UT, VA, and WI  

PURPOSE OF POSITION:  

An ideal Career Services team member has previous recruiting experience. They are upbeat, driven and proven relationship builders. They are independent thinkers, with a track record of success in the development of prospective companies. The selected candidate will build a personal rapport with companies nationwide to grow our current partnership bringing an endless amount of relatable IT job opportunities our students and graduates seek. The ability to readily assess their opportunities, create MOU's, and build lasting relationships.. Creating new relationships and building on existing relationships with employers to maintain a steady flow of job leads in the technology industry is essential.  The candidate must be skilled in both the development of employer partnerships and student relationships due to the importance of their role and the impact their performance has on the entire organization.  This is a full time Exempt position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 


  • Ensure that  the companies being researched have qualified IT roles that match what our students are learning and what ACCET is requiring. 

  • Follow policies and procedures as defined, with the autonomy to creatively make decisions that support both the National team’s objective and overall MYCC goals to ensure hiring growth and sustainable relationships. This essential duty is the core Mission of MyCC.  We exist to change lives and lives are not changed without a career in IT.  As such,  this role affects the organization’s operations to a substantial degree as placement standards is the key measurement of success by all regulatory bodies

  • Member of MyCC Advisory Board. As a professional on the front line of our business, provide expert advice to management on changes that are impacting placement opportunities based on changes in the IT industry

  • Participate in planning short term organizational objectives

  • Provide information and assistance about career development, career search and careers 

  • Interview new companies to obtain strong relationships to achieve priority consideration for our students/graduates

  • Identify barriers to employment

  • Maintain ongoing communications with our Career Service Team, and our corporate partners  

  • Assist Career Service Advisors with providing opportunities their candidates can apply for, and research our current unplaced in the areas our corporate partners needs are to match unplaced with opportunity  

  • Maintain all National documents and spreadsheets (ex: Resume Drops, Tracking Sheets, etc.) through the organizational database (Salesforce)

  • Develop and maintain relationships with employers through frequent communication and networking

  • Solicit and follow up on job orders from employers, building strong relationships with organizations to ensure they will continue to hire our students and graduates

  • Follow policies and procedures as defined, with the autonomy to creatively make decisions related to conversations with employers to help secure strong relationships, including securing MOUs with employers to define their commitment to hire our graduates

  • Counsel and advise companies and Career Service Advisor's regarding professional development and career success strategies

  • Participate in and represents the organization in investigating and resolving student or graduate complaints which have a significant impact on the organization’s reputation

  • Provide graduates with job opportunities and monitor Shared Documents to ensure applicants are added for review and feedback is provided from companies for the team

  • Utilizes professional relationships with employers that allow for MyComputerCareer students and graduates to be given priority in hiring over other candidates

  • Oversee job postings, registrations and applications on job placement website

  • Follow up weekly with non-placed graduates and assist where needed

  • Maintain database of employer contacts and placement status of students

  • Comply and report placement statistics as required by state, accrediting, and federal agencies

  • Up to 10% travel as needed

  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and experience preferred

  • Salesforce experience a plus

  • Knowledge of IT certifications a plus

  • Experience in recruiting, career services and/or sales environment

  • Proficiency with Microsoft office suite

  • Lift up 25lbs at times.
