Position Summary: Oversee the provision of casework services for the program.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Review intakes and assign new client cases to Case Managers.
- Provide weekly individual supervision from a trauma-informed perspective to social work staff and social work interns.
- Assist with onboarding, training and coaching of new employees.
- Complete annual staff performance appraisals, evaluate worker performance on an ongoing basis and conduct performance improvement plans and disciplinary action, where appropriate.
- Provide person-centered trauma-informed casework/case management services to clients, including: assessment; information and referral; applications for entitlements and benefits; developing case plans; arranging for provision of services; advocacy on behalf of clients; and supportive counseling. Provide case coverage for workers who are out of the office
- Develop and maintain knowledge about programs, benefits and psychosocial topics relevant for our specific client population. Disseminates relevant information to staff.
- Organize, facilitate, and assist at social, recreational and other group activities and events for clients
- Develop and maintain systems for client monitoring and record keeping utilizing client database. Review case records for quality assurance.
- Prepare monthly statistical reports as required. Track and provide additional data for grant funding and other reports as requested.
- Ensure all work is completed within organizational and departmental guidelines/timeframes.
- Substitute for the director in her/his absence.
- Adhere to organization’s standards by completing annual mandatory trainings in a timely manner on topics including – but not limited to – Sexual Harassment Prevention Training, IT Security Awareness, Compliance, OSHA, HIPAA and any other training the organization may deem necessary in regards to regulatory compliance or good business practices.

Salary Ranges: $67,500 - $69,900 per year commensurate with experience.
Job Competencies & Minimum Qualifications:
- MSW required; LMSW preferred.
- Experience in the provision of casework services.
- Experience in supervision preferred.
- Supervise volunteers for friendly visiting and telephone re-assurance program, interviews new candidates, attends HSP volunteer team meetings and facilitates at volunteer group activities.
- Able to work with clients with mental health diagnoses.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other technology.
- Able to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Working Conditions/Physical Demand
- Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions, wet and humid conditions, and unsanitary conditions in client homes.
