What you’ll do at Elekta 

 

Would you like to be part of our driven global team, where we aim to attract and invite the best competences to Elekta? We are offering you an exciting opportunity to join our Order Fulfilment & Service Organization.  

 

This is a home-based role with travel across the Southwest region of France, and we are looking for candidates ideally based near Toulon or Marseille.  

Responsibilities 

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service and support to our customers, ensuring optimal performance of Elekta equipment.  

 

  • Performing on-site and remote installations, planned and corrective maintenance, and implementing Field Change Orders (FCOs). 

  • Supporting the remote support team (Intellimax) and contributing to its smooth operation. 

  • Ensuring customer satisfaction at assigned sites and those where you intervene. 

  • Coordinating with the central scheduling team and informing the Team Leader/head office about intervention timelines. 

  • Managing parts logistics: ordering, returning unused/defective parts per Elekta SAS procedures. 

  • Preparing and validating intervention/installation reports with customer representatives. 

  • Ensuring interventions are completed thoroughly and requesting assistance when needed. 

  • Reporting and documenting any risks or defects observed during field operations. 

  • Maintaining all tools provided by Elekta SAS (e.g., car, phone, laptop, maintenance equipment). 

  • Communicating significant technical or commercial information to relevant internal stakeholders. 

  • Adhering to Elekta’s Quality System procedures and work instructions. 

 

What you bring 

  • Fluent in French and good in English (spoken, written, read).  

  • Minimum BTS or DUT in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Physical Measurements.  

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.  

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
