Business Continuity Manager – The role:
Are you ready to lead business continuity at a global scale? Join Linklaters as our Business Continuity Manager and play a pivotal role in safeguarding our operations across continents.
- Lead a global team: including Senior Business Continuity Advisor, Business Continuity Advisor, and IT Disaster Recovery Manager.
- Set the strategy: Shape and deliver the global business continuity vision and annual objectives.
- Drive resilience: Develop and implement our Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) in line with ISO 22301, BCI Good Practice Guidelines, and DRI standards.
- Collaborate widely: Work with Business Managers, IT, Legal & Risk, HR, and Global Operations to embed continuity planning across the firm.
- Test and improve: Lead business continuity exercises, scenario planning, and post-exercise reviews.
- Support senior leaders: Guide stakeholders through incidents and disruptions, ensuring critical operations are protected.
- Global impact: Manage a geographically diverse team and oversee third-party continuity risk.
- Continuous improvement: Maintain ISO 22301 certification and ensure audit-ready documentation.

Business Continuity Manager – What we’re looking for:
We’re seeking a dynamic leader who thrives in a partnership environment and brings a blend of technical expertise, strategic vision, and emotional intelligence.
- 10+ years in global business continuity, operational resilience, or risk management—ideally in professional services or legal sectors.
- Proven leadership of ISO 22301 certified BCMS programmes.
- Strong grasp of BCI and DRI frameworks.
- Experience leading high-performing, cross-functional teams.
- Track record of guiding senior leaders through critical incidents.
- Internationally recognized business continuity qualification (e.g., FBCI).
- Ability to influence at senior levels and flex your style to suit the situation.
- High EQ—able to see nuance, build relationships, and work collaboratively.
- Willingness to travel and manage geographically diverse teams.
- Solutions-oriented mindset and a passion for excellence.
